Murder charge as stabbed man dies

A man has been charged with the murder of a 41-year-old who died after he was stabbed in Liverpool.

The victim, who has not been named, was attacked on Jubilee Drive in Kensington on 13 May and a bloodstained knife was found at the scene.

He was being treated at the Royal Liverpool Hospital but has now died.

Thomas John Lythgoe, 36, from Caresbrook Road, Walton, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court.
